Our founder, Barry Cowen, has an extensive history in the industry and recognized early on that the wants and needs of clients were often cast aside in favor of profitability. So when he founded New Era, it was for the sole purpose of bringing a new and innovative approach – a NEW ERA - for customer service in this industry.

New Era has made great strides and continues to grow at a solid pace, ever innovating and that’s why we have changed our name (slightly) – our new look is a stronger expression of our firm’s identity as we officially introduce our new brand promise: To be a revolutionary, game changing instrument manufacturer – providing top quality instruments for the research, academic, veterinary and manufacturing communities – at a fraction of the cost.
Along with our new brand ID we have launched this new corporate website, which puts focus on our company, our instruments and our users and which offers distributors and end users a variety of useful resources.
